August 2026 Newsletter
Dear Church Family,
As a church family, we have been praying and trusting the Lord to guide us through this season of transition. We are grateful for His faithfulness and are excited to share an important update with you.
After much prayer and careful consideration, our leadership is pleased to announce that Robert Jackson has accepted the invitation to serve as our Transitional Interim Pastor.
A transitional interim pastor serves with a unique purpose. Rather than simply filling a temporary role, he will help shepherd our church, provide biblical leadership, strengthen our ministry, and prepare us for the future God has planned. We believe the Lord has brought Pastor Jackson to us for such a time as this.
Throughout Scripture, we see that God often uses seasons of transition to strengthen His people and prepare them for what comes next. While change can sometimes bring uncertainty, it also presents an opportunity for renewed faith, deeper unity, and fresh anticipation of what God desires to accomplish.
As we begin this new chapter together, we encourage every member of our church family to be an active part of what God is doing. We invite you to:
- Pray faithfully for Pastor Jackson, his family, our staff, and our church leadership.
- Worship consistently and remain connected to the life of our church.
- Serve joyfully using the gifts God has given you.
- Welcome Pastor Jackson warmly and encourage him as he begins his ministry among us.
Trust the Lord together as we seek His direction for the future.
This is not simply a season to wait, but a season to grow. We believe God is still building His church, changing lives through the gospel, and calling us to be faithful in His mission. Together, let us move forward with hope, unity, and expectation, knowing that "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6).
Please join us on August 16 as we officially welcome Pastor Jackson. We hope you will be present as we worship together, hear God's Word, and celebrate what He is doing in the life of our church.

Student News
As we turn the page to a new school year, it's hard not to pause and thank God for His in- credible faithfulness over the past several months. We have watched Him work in ways that only He can; students taking steps of faith, lives being changed through His Word, meaningful conversations, families growing together, and countless moments that reminded us that God is still at work among the next generation.
As students head back to school in a few weeks, they'll constantly feel pressure to fit in, to look like everyone else, think like everyone else, and chase what everyone else is chasing. But Scripture reminds us that followers of Jesus are called to be different. As we get ready for schools kickoff on Wednesday nights we are looking at identity. Our identity isn't determined by popularity, grades, athletics, or social media. Our identity is found in Christ. We don’t have to fit in to belong. During our time together, students will discover that when we know who we are in Christ, it gives us the courage to live differently, make wise choices, and remain faithful even when the world encourages us to compromise. Our prayer is that students would leave each week confident that following Jesus isn't about blending in; it's about reflecting Him.
On Sunday mornings we have been going through new serie titled “Genuine” out of James. James reminds us that authentic or genuine faith isn’t just something we profess but rather something that changes the way we live and what we do in our daily rhythms.Genuine faith is seen in the way we respond to trials, resist temptation, treat other people, speak with our words, and live out God's Word every day. Our hope is that students won't settle for a faith that is merely talked about, but will pursue a faith that is active, growing, and evident in every area of their lives. As we begin another school year, we'd love for you to pray with us:

The beginning of the school year is one of the best opportunities students have to bring someone with them. Thank you again for partnering with us as we seek to help students become Grounded in God's Word, Growing in their faith, and Going into the world to make Jesus known. We're excited to see what God will do this fall!
