White Christmas is Sunday, December 10th.
  If you have names of individuals/families who need food boxes, please call the church. Next Sunday, the food list for White Christmas will be in the bulletin.  If you are not a member of a Sunday School Class, please choose any nonperishable food to contribute.
 
Angel tree tags are on the bulletin board just outside the sanctuary near the piano.  Please sign your name beside the family # on the tag.  It is suggested to not spend more than $35 to $40 on each tag.  Return gifts by December 10th. 
 
Christmas gifts for Inmates:
The Wilkes Prison Ministry is collecting money for the inmates Christmas Sacks for the Wilkes Correctional Center. You will have an opportunity to contribute to this ministry from now until December 17th. You can write a check to Wilkes Prison Ministry or give cash.  Give your contributions to Doug Laws, Frank Shealy or the church office.  The cost of each bag is about $15. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2018 Steers of Yesteryear Cow-lendars for sale to support Kenya Missions.  Each calendar is $10.00 each.  The special monthly offers inside each calendar will more than make up for the cost.  Available in church office or from mission team members.

534 Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes were picked up to be delivered to Samaritan’s Purse….236 from our church.
 
 
December 6:  Wednesday Supper  Menu: baked ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, apples, rolls, desserts and drinks.  Adults: $5   Children 10 years and under: $2
 
 
Mission trip to Kenya January 2018.
 If you have not taken an envelope to make your contribution toward expenses for the 2018 Kenya Mission Team, please see Pastor Richard or Phillip Smith.  
 
Also, there is a box (near the church office) to collect children and adult vitamins, ibuprofen and acetaminophen.
 
 
Our church is collecting soup, cereal or any food that you would like to donate for distribution at the
Byrd Ridge Food Pantry.  This is an ongoing support project.  Please place donations in the designated collection containers in the areas near the Fellowship Hall and/or Family Life Center.  If you have any questions,etc. please contact Wanda. neighbors and families box o food
